Czech player calls out Brennan Othman, claims he's a liar and a coward
After Team Canada eliminated the Czech Team from the World Juniors, there was an altercation in the handshake line. The altercation occured between Brennan Othmann and Michal Gut. After exchanging word, Gut initiated physical contact shoving Othmann.
After the game Othmann said during in an interview that, "if you can't play with the big boys, then don't come."
Now Gut is firing back. Gut took to his Twitter account to call out Othmann, who he claimed refuse to address their issues during the game.
I think, he is big liar, because I told him why he didn't want to go on the ice and doing this after the game.. such liar🤥
It's clear the two players have different perspectives on what happened. After the incident Othmann went onto win Gold with Team Canada, while the Czech team lost in the Semi-Finals to Sweden.
