Dallas Stars General Manager announces one of his top 9 forwards has left the team indefinitely
The Dallas Stars have gotten off to an incredible start to the season. The Stars currently sit in 1st place in the Central Division with a record of 19-8-6. If the Stars are going to look to maintain that lead, they're going to have to look to do it without forward Denis Gurianov.
Today Dallas Stars General Manager informed the media that Gurianov has left the team to deal with a personal matter at this time.
Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that forward Denis Gurianov has been granted an indefinite leave of absence from the team due to family reasons.
The team will have no further comment at this time.
Gurianov has played 239 games with the Stars, he has 46 goals and 99 total points in his career. This season though Gurianov has struggled in 25 games, he has 2 goals and 3 assists.
Our thoughts are with Gurianov as he handles his personal business. Hopefully he makes a return to the Stars at some point this season.
