Dougie Hamilton nails Tyler Bertuzzi as he tries to score on an empty net

It was a meaningless game in the Prudential Center last night, but you wouldn't know it. With the New Jersey Devils hosting the Detroit Red Wings, in a game between two former NHL dynasties, both currently in the rebuilding process.
The Devils are 7th in the Metropolitan division with a 27-46-9 record while the Detroit Red Wings are 32-40-10.
During tonight's final game of their regular season both teams wanted to finish the year strong. With the score 4-3 for the Detroit Red Wings, in the final minute of the 3rd period, Tyler Bertuzzi would look like he was going to score on an empty net goal was, but that was derailed by Dougie Hamilton. Hamilton who would nail Bertuzzi into the boards with a big hit to shutdown his attempt.
