Player under investigation after wild stick swinging incident during game
Sometimes things happen after the whistle that draw some real criticism. Some of those things warrant suspension, and some even expulsion from the league. But very few reach this sort of level of assault and battery. This minor league hockey player definitely crossed the line.
There is very little information about what led to this stick swinging incident, but this erratic behavior nearly left a player injured. Luckily for the victim the referee intervened and got hold of the stick before things got really wild.
There are no additional details on what has happened to the perpetrator, but its likely he received a serious suspension.
