The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Tampa Bay Lightning to win the Stanley Cup on Sunday night. Every year we get new amazing stories and moments that live on forever. One of those moments was seeing the longest tenured member of the Colorado Avalanche, Erik Johnson and Nathan MacKinnon hugging on the ice after the victory.
When people think of the Colorado Avalanche most think of Nathan MacKinnon, Cale Makar, or Mikko Rantanen but to win a Stanley cup you also need players like a Erik Johnson.
After the Avalanche victory one of the most heartfelt interviews came from Johnson.
After all was said and done Johnson wanted to soak in the moment, so he took a private skate on the ice after all the fans had departed in an extremely emotional moment.
