Ben Chiarot has cemented his ability to be a solid and reliable D-man in the last couple seasons.
According to Elliotte Friedman, Chiarot has found a new team to call home in the Detroit Red Wings.
According to Eric Engels, there is also a Modified NTC attached to his contract.
Steve Yzerman is clearly looking to get back to the good old days of having a solid defensive core and Chiarot is not a bad place to start.
