Anytime identical twins show up in movies or television they usually pull the classic prank of pretending one is there the other one. They do this to try and get the other one out of trouble or another sticky situation. But it seems like the Sedin twins would do it just for fun to mess with people.
Daniel and Henrik Sedin spent their entire career with the Vancouver Canucks. While there sometimes they'd like to spice things up at practice by swapping jerseys to see if anyone would notice. They told former teammate Kevin Bieksa that they even switched jerseys for a few pre-season and All-Star games. Bieska asked if they did it during any regular season games and they said «probably». To be honest who would know other than them?
But the biggest trick they would play was at the Faceoff dot. If Henrik would get kicked out of the draw, he'd skate over and talk to Daniel. The two would move around and talk to each other but Henrik would go right back to the dot with the referee being none the wiser.
Sometimes hockey players can be seen as super serious, it's great when they show some personality and stories like this come out.
