Former top 20 pick placed on waivers
In anticipation of the March 3rd NHL Trade Deadline teams are beginning to shuffle players up and down to maximize cap space. This year has been very eventful for Kieffer Bellows who has found himself placed on waivers on multiple occasions. Today Bellows found himself placed on waivers again.
Waiver activity today: Kieffer Bellows. Both guys from yesterday cleared.
Bellows was claim by Philadelphia earlier this year from the New York Islanders. Bellows has been unable to find himself a regular spot in the NHL despite previously being considered a top prospect. If he clears waivers, he will likely be assigned to the Leigh Valley Phantoms.
In 15 games this season Bellows has just one goal and no assists.
