Furious Barry Trotz throws a stick on the ice to get a referee's attention

Barry Trotz is one of the most respected coaches in the entire NHL. But he's also an old school type guy, and tonight that was on full display, as the veteran coach lost his cool with an official. After Justin Faulk scored to make the game 4-0, Barry Trotz decided that he wanted to call a timeout. Unfortunately for Trotz it seems like the in-game officials weren't listening to the veteran coach.
So what did Trotz do?
Rather than simply accept his fate he grabbed Anthony Beauvillier's stick and fired it on the ice to get the officials attention.
Unfortunately for Trotz, not only did he get his timeout, but he also managed to get himself a 2-minute bench minor for his troubles. This is just another low point to a tough season for the
