Last season the Dallas Stars ordered John Klingberg an 8 year contract worth 56 million dollars Klingberg turned it down at the advice of his greedy former agent Petter Wallin.

Klingberg was told he was going to get a bigger deal in free agency that obviously didn't come to fruition. Klingberg has since fired his agent and signed with the reputable Newport Sports Agency. After changing representatives he signed a one year 7 million dollar deal with the Anaheim Ducks.

Klingberg hasn't even played one game in Anaheim, but according to Hockey Insider Mark Spector, the Edmonton Oilers have already expressed interest in potentially bringing Klingberg to Edmonton if the Ducks fall out of the playoffs.

Oilers' General Manager, Ken Holland is trying to build on the success of last year's playoff run to the Western Conference Finals. After re-signing Evander Kane and finally getting a decent goaltender in Jack Campbell, adding a Klingberg to the mix would be a huge bonus.
