Jordan Binnington keeps up his unhinged behavior, runs into Ilya Sorokin after period ends
Jordan Binnington has developed quite the reputation around the NHL. In the last year alone he's swung his stick at the head of Nazem Kadri, punched Evander Kane and chirped the entire Los Angeles Kings bench. Among many other things.
After giving up 4 goals in the second period, Binnington chose to try to get under the Islanders skin by intentionally colliding with Ilya Sorokin. The Islanders were clearly upset with Binnington, but that's exactly what he wanted.
So far this season Binnington has a record of 3-3-0 with a goals against average north of 3 and save percentage of .882. If Binnington is unable to stop the puck the least he can do is get under the skin of the opposing teams.
