Last night against the New York Islanders, Alexander Oveckin scored his 767th career goal, passing Jaromir Jagr (766) and taking over the spot of 3rd all time in NHL goal scoring.
Ovechkin still has 4 more years to his contract after this season and trails only Gordie Howe (801) and Wayne Gretzky (894) in career goals.
