Since joining the Minnesota Wild, Marc-Andre Fleury has been on a different level. The 37-year-old seems to be rejuvenated and ready for another run for the Stanley Cup. Like every fan base before them, the Minnesota fans have already fallen in love with their new goalie.
This weekend Marc-Andre Fleury unveiled his new mask and shared how it was inspired by one of this favorite goalies growing up:
Fleury said his mask is a "wild beast with his mouth open" inspired by Andy Moog's old Bruins mask. "And got some flowers in the background."
Fleury knows it's sacrilege with a Bruins inspired mask being a former Habs fan, but he's "a goalie fan" too
Fleury is not only one of the best goalies of our generation, but the respect he has for the players who come before him is a beautiful thing.
