During yesterday's LA Kings versus Minnesota Wild game, Minnesota's Brandon Duhaime got the opportunity to do something many NHLers would enjoy doing. Duhaime was able to drop the gloves with Brendan Lemieux and fed him quite a few shots.
The fight broke out when Lemieux, slashed Wild, Nick Bjugstad after he scored to give the Wild a 6-3 lead in the 3rd period.
Bjugstad's teammate Brandon Duhaime immediately took the opportunity to stand up for his teammate and drops the gloves.
Both men were given 5-minute fighting majors on the play. There was no call on the original slash by Lemieux.
