The Gold Medal game between Canada and Finland went into overtime. Unlike other tournaments there would be no shootout in this game, the recent change now mandates 20 minutes of 3 on 3 overtime. During tonight's overtime, Mason McTavish saved Canada's Gold Medal hopes and somehow made the save of the tournament.

As a Finnish forward fluttered the puck on an empty net, McTavish was able to somehow deflect the puck down. Not only was McTavish able to direct the puck away from net, he was also able to sweep it off of the goal line before the puck crossed.

Approximately a minute later Kent Johnson went down the ice and was able to win the game for Canada with a beautiful game winning goal.

Congratulations to Canada's Junior Team on this victory.
