Matthew Tkachuk has always played with an edge, it's what made him a fan favourite with the Calgary Flames and it's what made him public enemy number one outside of the flame locker room as well.
Now with the Florida Panthers, Tkachuk is wasting no time becoming the most hated man in Boston tonight. Take a look:
During a scrum in front of the Bruin net, Tkachuk targets captain and long time Bruin Patrice Bergeron and attempting to toss him around a little bit while getting in a free shot or two.
Listen, I'm a fan who loves the edge and the rough stuff as much as the next person, with that being said, there are some players you should never touch. If you decide you want to push, you better be ready for the target to be clear as day on your back.
Bergeron is one of those players that should and will be protected at all costs. If you think about it, he's doing his job well, don't be surprised when the entire team comes after him for it though.
