Milan Lucic refuses to let Jaccob Slavin jump on the ice, dumps him into his bench
When he's at his best, Milan Lucic is an absolute menace to everyone. Despite losing a step in his skating, Lucic can still play a very respectable shift and sway the outcome of a game. During yesterday's game between the Calgary Flames and Carolina Hurricanes, that's exactly what Lucic did.
As the Carolina Hurricanes tried to make a line change Lucic saw an opportunity to cause some chaos. As Hurricanes defender Jaccob Slavin tries to jump onto the ice for a line change he's met by Lucic. Lucic intentionally blocks Slavin sending him back into the bench.
Lucic wasn't given a penalty on the play and the Flames went onto win the game 3-2 in overtime in what could be a Stanley Cup Finals preview. It's great to see Lucic still engaged as he's one of the most fun players to watch when he's on his game.
