The situation regarding the Boston Bruins signing Mitchell Miller is one of the messier situations when it comes to signing a player to a contract.
Now according to Ian McLaren of the Hockey news, Miller and his agent have been caught in a lie. After issuing a statement through his agency Miller has been called out about the Executive Director of Special Hockey America.
In his agents statement, he said Miller had worked with Adaptive Sports Ohio, but according to the Executive Director of Special Hockey in America he never responded to invitations to join the organization.
He did not respond to a single invitation to join Special Hockey in AZ or OH. But our names were good enough for the press release. He made a choice repeatedly knowing there are consequences for actions. Even if there is enlightenment & forgiveness, there are consequences.
Something seems out of place here. Why is it that all of these contradictions are coming out? What does his agent get out of lying?
One thing is clear though, no matter what the truth is, he and his representation look to be no good. Being caught in this lie, is just icing on the cake.
Update: Another organization has come forward and claimed the information provided is incorrect.
