The Montreal Canadiens are a franchise with a rich history and a long list of hockey legends. But, they are also not one to be shy about making some controversial moves.
At the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, the Habs made the controversial decision of selecting Logan Mailloux in the first round. Logan Mailloux has been caught up in some legal issues back when he was playing in Europe.
After extensive counselling and therapy today the Montreal Canadiens feel like Mailloux is ready to prove himself as a changed man by signing him to a 3-year entry-level contract.
Fans have shared a lot of mixed feelings about Montreal signing Mailloux. Some still feel like he doesn't deserve to be in the NHL due to his initial encounter in Sweden.
