Montreal Canadiens announce passing of former player
The Montreal Canadiens took to their Twitter account today to announce the passing of a former player, Louis Denis.
The Canadiens are saddened to learn of the passing of Louis «Lulu» Denis, who enjoyed a brief stint with the team in 1949-50 and 1950-51. Our condolences go out to his family, friends, and former teammates.
Denis spent most of his career as a minor league player, only seeing action in 3 NHL games in his career. Denis went onto play most of his career with the Montreal Royals of the QHL and EPHL.
Denis passed away at the age 94. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Denis family.
