Multiple defensemen find new homes among busy hour in the NHL

The Edmonton Oilers strengthen their defence core adding Brett Kulak from the Montreal Canadiens. No word on the return yet via hockey Insider Frank Seravalli Kulak is 28 and a pending UFA at seasons end. Kulak has 3 goals and 10 assists in 56 games this season.
The Nashville Predators have acquired defenceman, Alex Biega from the Toronto Maple leafs in exchange of future considerations. Biega, 33, has 7 points in 37 games with the Leafs AHL affiliate Toronto Marlies.
The New York Rangers have acquired defenceman, Justin Braun from the Philadelphia Flyers in exchange for a 3rd round pick in 2023. Braun has 5 goals and 11 assists in 61 games this season. Braun is a pending ufa at seasons end.
