Multiple teams suddenly interested in Bo Horvat after significant injuries
The Vegas Golden Knights and Carolina Hurricanes have suffered minor setbacks with injuries plaguing both teams as of late. Jack Eichel has returned recently from injury but he alone isn't going to be enough to push the needle.
Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty are both out at the moment, with Pacioretty re-injuring his Achilles Heel this week, the teams are looking for help.
Both teams have been linked to Bo Horvat in trade talks recently, with Vinnie Troecheck's departure to New York, they could use a top-6 Center. Also with the Vegas Golden Knights, he would be yet another blockbuster trade by Kelly McCrimmon.
It is obvious that both of these clubs are in win-now mode, with Bruce Cassidy and Rod Brind'Amour behind the helm of each franchise, they're poised to make a run. Horvat is having one of the best seasons of his career and could turn each team into a Stanley Cup contender legitimately, as Carolina's Center depth is lacking and the Mark Stone injury leaves holes in offensive output, Eichel currently can't fulfill it seems.
The Bo Horvat sweepstakes are just heating up and with these two prominent injuries, trade-deadline talks should be very interesting.
