New York Rangers place center on waivers
Making it to the NHL is extremely difficult, but staying in the NHL is even tougher. That again has proven to be the case for journeyman Jonny Brodzinski. Brodzinski was drafted 148th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in 2013 and has been struggling to stay in the NHL ever since.
Over an 8 year professional career Brodzinski has played 100 NHL games, for 3 different teams. Today the Rangers placed Brodzinski on waivers for purposes of demoting him to the AHL.
In 16 games this season he has one goal and one assist. But has not been able to find regular playing time in the Rangers lineup.
