NHL Insider gets Clapback From Veteran Player
The Nylanders are a hockey dynasty, as William and Alex have followed their father's footsteps and followed him into the family business of the NHL.
However, they've never had it so easy compared to Michael Nylanders' time in the Hartford Whalers organization.
Nylander had to put up with the rookie coach and deal with the aftermath as a result of his terrible record.
Used William Nylander's father Michael as a scapegoat for his struggles in Hartford, to the point of making up false stories as an excuse for sending him to the minors. Considering the history of these two, Pierre McGuire leveraged a terrible coaching career into an analyst position and now currently has a front-office job in Ottawa.
While Michael with the fun swipe at McGuire who is universally reviled, aside from friends in high places in the NHL, it looks like William Nylander will be the one to keep the family legacy going as he continues to play at a high level in the NHL, while Alex hasn't experienced the same success, unfortunately.
