Nazem Kadri posts touching tribute to the City of Denver and the Colorado Avalanche
Nazem Kadri signed a 7 year contract worth 7 million dollars per season with the Calgary Flames. Going to the Flames was a shock to many, but one thing is clear, he enjoyed his time in a Colorado Avalanche uniform. Winning a Stanley Cup will do that.
The Kadri family took to their cats Instagram to thank the Avalanche organization and their loyal fan base.
To the city of Denver, thank you for this amazing journey. What a city. And to the fans WOW, you are are amazing!!! We could of never done any of this without you. Through the ups and downs you were always in Nazem's corner and for that, THANK YOU. Without your support, none of this would of been possible. So happy we got to bring the Stanley cup home for you guys Goodbyes are never easy, but the love always remains love, The Kadri Family
Kadri, 31, goes to Calgary coming after the best season of his NHL career notching 87 points in 71 games including 28 goals and 59 assists.
At his AAV I like the Kadri signing more than I like the Flames other big signing, however, at 31, one has to wonder if his body and more importantly his production will hold.
