New York Rangers fans taunt Andrei Vasilevskiy after early season win
The Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers kicked off their NHL seasons last night with a meeting in New York City. This was a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Finals and there was certainly no love lost between the two teams.
On the ice the Rangers captured a 3-1 victory and the Rangers fans made sure to let the Lightning know exactly how they felt about Andrei Vasilevskiy. As the time wound down the fans broke into what has become a patented chant:
Igor's better! Igor's better!
While Igor was better last night, Vasilevskiy was better in the playoffs last season when it really mattered.
