One fan taken to hospital after wild altercation at Anaheim Ducks game
An Anaheim Ducks fan was transported to hospital after an altercation with a Winnipeg Jets fan during last night's game.
Unfortunately, sometimes at hockey games when the alcohol gets flowing, the bad decisions follow. For one and Anaheim Ducks fan that's exactly what happened when the Ducks faced off against the Winnipeg Jets.
The camera begins to roll in the concourse area where two men are engaged in what appears to be but rather one sided fight. A Winnipeg Jets' fan wearing a Jacob Trouba jersey tries to intervene when the fan and the Ducks jersey tries throw him to the ground. That's when things take a turn for the worse.
The Jets fan manages to maintain his footing and immediately sweeps the leg of the other gentleman and sends him crashing hard to the ground.
The Ducks' fans appears to make clear contact with the ground, knocking him out cold. There was obvious concern for the man's health, but this was a clear case of self-defense. Report state that one man was sent to hospital and know update has been provided on this condition.
This is just another of the risks one takes at the sporting events when they are either overserved or they overindulgent.
