One player claimed and three more players placed on waivers
It's been an eventful preseason for Jonas Johansson, after being placed on waivers two weeks ago he was claimed by the Arizona Coyotes. It appeared like Johansson would be spending the season in Arizona. That was until the Nashville Predators waived Connor Ingram.
The Coyotes jumped at their opportunity to claim Ingram and to create the roster space needed they opted to waiver Johansson. The Colorado Avalanche jumped at the opportunity to require their former goalie and today they did just that.
Today 3 additional players were placed on waivers at today's 2 pm deadline.
Teams will have until tomorrow at noon to claim one of these players should they want to add one to their roster.
