Darryl Sutter won the Jack Adams Award last season, after taking the helm and leading the team into the Stanley Cup playoffs. Only to be cut down by the Edmonton Oilers in an epic Battle of Alberta in round 2.

However, this season has changed as talent was shipped out and new talent brought in, which is adversity someone like Sutter should plan for.

Paul Bissonnette thinks that the Calgary Flames are in an untenable position, given Darryl Sutter's recent media antics lately. They definitely aren't the same team as they were last season, and Biz doesn't blame Brad Treliving either.

After last season, it was a definite Cinderella run as the offense ran on all cylinders and Sutter got the most out of his depth. It feels like the team is no longer rolling 4 lines, and Sutter has been roasted for putting Milan Lucic on the 2nd line, a reason which Bissonnette failed to mention as another reason to be out on the Calgary Flames this season.

Has Sutter worn out his welcome? Given how he handled the Jakob Pelletier situation and mishandled Adam Ruzicka, it's entirely possible at this point.
