Ryan Strome finds himself a new home for the next 5 years
Ryan Strome spent the last 4 years as a member of the New York Rangers. Over that time he put up 71 goals and 195 points in 263 career games. Unfortunately for Strome he became a victim of the salary cap situation surrounding the Rangers.
Tonight it was announced that Strome had come to terms on a 5-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
According to Elliotte Friedman the contract will pay Strome $5,000,000 season. The Ducks were looking to replace some of the experience lost with the retirement of Ryan Getzlaf and this goes a very long way to doing that.
