Sam Bennett busts open Mikhail Sergachev after he hits Claude Giroux from behind

The Tampa Bay Lightning and Florida Panthers don't like each other, that's problem even an understatement. The two teams have shared one of the best rivalries in hockey over the past few seasons.

During the second period of tonight's game that rivalry was renewed by Sam Bennett and Mikhail Sergachev continued the Panthers and Bolts rivalry with a big fight, after Bennett checked Sergachev into the boards.

The play began when Mikhail Sergachev hit Claude Giroux from behind and Sam Bennett immediately took notice. Bennett made sure he got Sergachev back for the damage.

During the tilt Bennett busted Sergachev wide open. Both men were issued 7-minutes in penalties on the play. 5 each for fighting and 2-minute minors for roughing.

Bennett has been on an absolute tear since being moved to Florida, currently he has 47 points on the season and +28 rating.

Both Tampa Bay and Florida have already clinched playoff spots. The Lightning are currently 3rd in the Atlantic behind the Maple Leafs, while the Panthers sit 1st overall in the league.

Currently the Lightning are ahead by 2 during the second intermission.
