Scary scene in Tampa Bay for Anthony Cirelli
During the second period of tonight's game Anthony Cirelli appears to suffer what could be a gruesome injury. After getting tangled up with Gabriel Landeskog and Devon Toews, Cirelli falls to the ice. Cirelli doesn't appear to be initially injured, but it appears Alex Killorn's skate blade slices Cirelli on the bicep.
Cirelli immediately yells out in pain, clutches his bicep and jumps to his feet. Cirelli makes a beeline for the bench and rushed down the tunnel.
Cirelli did not return for the rest of the period and there has been no update on his condition at this time.
