Skater drops the gloves with a goalie during the shootout
The FPHL is a Single A Hockey League that has affiliations with many ECHL teams, and throughout its existence has promoted 500 players to the AHL and ECHL. It has recently expanded to Detroit, Michigan, and Biloxi, Mississippi.
Despite all of the league's success, there's always a moment caught on camera that lets you know, it's still amateur.
The camera work isn't great, but it still screams "The Fed". During a shootout between the Watertown Wolves and Port Huron Prowlers things get heated between a shooter and the goaltender.
The "fight" lacks any kind of punches, but this isn't something you see everyday.
