Stanley Cup winner has a tough night on a mechanical bull
The Colorado Avalanche finally got over the hump and won the 2022 Stanley Cup. After years of coming up short the team finally overcame their demons. One of the most senior members of the Avalanche team was Erik Johnson.
It took Johnson 14 seasons to finally get his hands on the Cup, but he's enjoyed every minute of this summer since. Earlier this summer Johnson was seen taking the Stanley Cup for a ride on a slip and slide.
The party hasn't stopped for Johnson who last night chose to try his hand at riding a mechanical bull at a local bar. Fortunately for Johnson, he appears much better at playing hockey than he does at riding bulls.
Johnson is entering the final year of his contract which pays him $6,000,000 for next season, so soon he'll be transitioning into regular season mode. Knowing Nate MacKinnon's strict approach Johnson will likely have to cut down on the partying for a bit.
