Taylor Hall sucker punches Maple Leafs defenseman
The Toronto Maple Leafs are visiting the Boston Bruins tonight at the TD Garden. TD Garden has bit been kind to the Maple Leafs over the years, but the Maple Leafs Re trying to change that.
Unfortunately for the Maple Leafs during the second period after a hit by Ilya Lyubushkin, Taylor Hall who was the victim of that hit decided to retaliate.
As Ilya Lyubushkin began to skate away Hall sucker punched the defenseman. Lyubushkin was down on the ice for a moment before skating off under his own power.
Ilya Lyubushkin left the game and has not returned, while Taylor Hall was given a 2-minute penalty on the play.
