Tempers finally boil over as Hagel and Vatrano drop the gloves for a spirited tilt
This playoffs has been rather disappointing when it comes to players dropping the gloves. While teams have played physical we've seen a significant drop off in fighting majors.
But tonight during the Rangers versus Lightning game, Brandon Hagel and Frank Vatrano dropped the gloves in a spirited tilt. While Vatrano took the upper hand early, Hagel scored the victory with a late flurry.
Both players were awarded 5-minute fighting majors on the play. After the play though both men discussed their tilt with a spirited conversation in the penalty box.
