The Vancouver Canucks have made it known for some time thst they'll be sellers when the March 3rd trade deadline rolls around. With no shortage of players to trade, they've set the asking price for Bo Horvat.
According to Jeff Marek of Sportsnet, the asking price for the Canucks captain is 3 players including a top prospect to pry Horvat away from Vancouver.
This seems to be the going rate for stars at the deadline these days, however, I doubt any contending team would not only be willing to give up that kind of steep price, but has those pieces to give away.
Horvat, 27, has played in 46 games for the Canucks this season and collected a total of 49 points including 30 goals and 19 assists.
Horvat is a game breaker no doubt, the price of players this season seems to astronomical, but if a team can find a way to add him, that would surely put them over the top heading into the playoffs.
