Tom Brady is back
Earlier this year Tom Brady announced that he was retiring from the sport of football to fulfill his dream of being the World's Greatest Hockey Parent. Brady had played 22 pro seasons and undoubtedly would be recognized as the greatest football player to ever play the game.
But it turns out his love of the game was too much to keep him away from one more season. As today he announced his return to professional football.
These past two months I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it's not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG
It looks like Brady will continue to chase Zdeno Chara who is currently playing in his 24th career pro season, for the longest active professional sports career.
So I guess that father of the year trophy will have to wait, or as one Twitter user said?
