Two major players missing from Tampa Bay Lightning practice
The Tampa Bay Lightning lost a tough game 3 matchup to the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 5-2 victory gives the Maple Leafs a 2-1 series lead, heading into Game 4 Sunday night. Sheldon Keefe had predicted this series was be "borderline violent" and it hasn't disappointed.
The physical battle has definitely taken it's toll on some players, but in what could be a worrying sight for Bolts' fans, today two Lightning players were absent for practice. When Lightning practice began both Nikita Kucherov and Andrei Vasilevskiy were absent.
Kucherov and Vasilevskiy not on the ice as Lightning start practice
It's possible both players are taking part in maintenance days, but this is definitely something to monitor as the Lightning look to potentially three-peat as Cup Champions.
