The Edmonton Oilers scored early to take the lead in Game 4 against the Calgary Flames. Flames' players were obviously frustrated after coming off two straight losses to the Oilers. Tyler Toffoli showed his frustration by taking a dangerous tripping penalty.
After Warren Foegele followed through on a hit on Toffoli, Toffoli kicked Foegele's feet out from under him. Foegele landed hard on his head. He had trouble getting to his feet and had to go back to the locker room to be examined.
The fact that Toffoli only received two minutes is surprising. I'm sure he'll hear from the Department of Player Safety tomorrow, where he'll pick up his standard $3,750 fine.
