Last night when the Seattle Kraken visited the United Center to take on the Chicago Blackhawks, Seattle defender Vince Dunn, had to be helped off the ice after a collision with Blackhawk's Sam Lafferty; Dunn went legs first into the boards and stayed down for a few moments.
The play occurred with 7:10 remaining in the second period when Dunn and Lafferty were going after the puck along the Chicago end boards. Their skates got tangled, leading to Dunn losing his edges. To Lafferty's credit, he did seem to try to protect the falling Kraken defender.
Dunn was able to return for the 3rd period after this scary looking fall.
