The World Junior Championships is a great time of pride for NHL players from each country and after Canada's loss to Czechia one Czech player took the opportunity to mock Canada.

This year's World Junior Championships was an utter failure for Canada leading to calls from many around the hockey world including Don Cherry for major changes to be made by Canada.

In the loss to Czechia, not only did Canada lose, but they were thoroughly outplayed by the Czechs throughout the game and looked like the less talented team.

Since the loss there has been a lot of backlash from Canada but also a lot of celebration from the rest of the world regarding the downfall of the mighty hockey powerhouse.

After the game Czech NHL star Jakub Lauko took to social media to share his excitement for his home country's success while also mocking Canada.

One of those notable NHL players was Czech hockey star Jakub Lauko who plays for the Minnesota Wild.

Throughout the game Lauko shared multiple posts mocking Canada and celebrating the success of his home country Czechia.

Lauko is just one example of the overall sentiment from the larger hockey world that has enjoyed watching Canada collapse for a second year in a row.

With the loss now handed out and the humiliation soon to be over Canada will need to regroup and begin putting together a plan to rebound going forward in future World Junior Championship tournaments.
