It's been a rather busy day around the national hockey league In terms of trades, The most recent one Is between the Washington Capitals and Los Angeles Kings.
Pierre-Luc Dubois has been traded to the Washington Capitals in exchange for goaltender Darcy Kuemper. As per Sportsnet, Elliotte, Friedman, and TSN's Pierre LeBrun.
According to Pierre LeBrun The trade involving Keumper and Dubois is one for one and no salary will be retained.
Both players still have massive term on their contracts And could benefit from a fresh start. Although the player that has struggled the most is definitely Dubois and a change of scenery for him, especially on a team that struggles to score like the Washington Capitals could benefit him more in the long run. However, Los Angeles does get some much-needed help and goal which is a position they've needed help with for a few seasons.
