A very sad scene from an amateur hockey game after a player collapses to the ice during play and passes away.
According to reports, the video below shows 61-year-old forward Mikhail Yanchishin, who was taking part in an amateur game in Russia this weekend when you can see him fall to the ice. Other players come over to check on his and then you can see them frantically trying to get him on his back as they realized his life was slipping away.
There's no official word on the cause of death, but reports indicate it as a cardiac episode. Our sincere condolences to family and friends.
