MAF welcomes Bedard to the league with a trip before firing the puck at another Blackhawk's player
Marc-Andre Fleury is without question a future Hall of Famer. The veteran goaltender is a throwback a previous generation with the way he plays the game. Throughout his career Fleury has allowed his temper to flare on multiple occasions.
Last night during the shootout Fleury sent a message to not one or two, but three Chicago Blackhawks players. In the shootout Fleury welcomed Connor Bedard to the league with the patented hack to the skates. The play sent Bedard falling to ice, before he was approached by Fleury who said something to the rookie.
Fleury followed that up with a save in Taylor Hall before sending him sprawling into the end boards.
If that wasn't enough after Lukas Reichel was stopped, the forward attempted to sneak a rebound behind Fleury, something which is clearly not allowed. Fleury stopped the rebound before firing the puck back at Reichel.
It's clear Fleury is in midseason form already. Fleury has talked about this being his final NHL season, it appears we're in for a lot of fun.
