Hockey is a physical sport and of course hitting is a part of it, but when you're able to see an opposing players numbers, you're always taught to stop. If and when you don't, that comes a rather dangerous play.

Tonight, as the Minnesota Wild face off against the Dallas Stars and the second period winding down, Stars defender Thomas Harley has the puck along the boards with Wild forward Brandon Duhaime comes barreling in and makes a very dangerous hit; take a look.

Five minute major and a game misconduct to Brandon Duhaime for boarding Thomas Harley

Duhaime was assessed a 5 minute major and a game misconduct on the play. Harley was on the laying on the ice as his teammates came to his defence. This is a play you just cannot make, Duhaime has to know he can't follow through with that hit. It's a disgusting and dangerous play.

The wild forward should most definitely be receiving a call from the Department of Player Safety in the morning and should be suspended at least a couple of games, but you never know, the stand for punishment is all over the place
