Tom Wilson drills a former 1st overall pick and then beats up his teammate
Since suffering a knee injury last season and missing significant time, Tom Wilson hasn't been the same player. His lack of physical play has been very evident and has contributed to the Capitals struggles at times.
Tonight however, Wilson was able to get back to his previous ways. During the 1st period of tonight's game, Wilson was able to catch former 1st round pick Owen Power coming across the middle. Wilson delivered a big hit that sent Power to the ice.
Power's teammate Jordan Greenway came to his defense and dropped the gloves with Wilson.
Wilson easily handled Greenway in the tilt and was able to spark his team to a comeback 4-3 victory.
