Jake Neighbors and Kyle Burroughs drop the gloves for a very spirited tilt
The St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks faced off yesterday in a Western Conference match up. Both teams are destined to miss the playoffs this spring, but that didn't stop both teams from giving their all in what ended up being a great game.
During the second period of the game tempers boiled over between Jake Neighbours and Kyle Burroughs. The two dropped the gloves in what ended up being one of the betters fights of the season.
Both men were assessed 5-minute majors for fighting on the play. The Canucks would eventually fall behind 5-2, but would manage to tie them game late before returning in overtime 6-5.
