Fighting is a part of the fabric that makes up the game of hockey, whether your policing someone after a dirty hit or trying to turn the momentum in your teams favour, fighting is a part of the game. It seems to be making a comeback this year as well something I personally am enjoying.
Last night when the Ottawa Senators faced off against the St. Louis Blues Brady Tkachuk and Tyler Tucker dropped the gloves and drifted towards centre ice before unloading on each other; take a look.

With the Senators down 3-0 halfway through the 2nd, dropping the gloves was a last ditch effort to turn the momentum of the game and boy, did Tucker and Tkachuk not disappoint.
Tkachuk has been known to throw them throughout his entire hockey career, but Tucker hung in there and went shot for shot with the Senators captain. Overall it was a pretty even scrap, with both players landing their fair share of punches, but Tkachuk does eventually score the takedown, thus taking the fight.
