Zack Stortini, a well-known former NHL enforcer, was challenged to meet outside the arena by a fellow coach, and Stortini was absolutely ready to accept before.

Zack Stortini racked up 725 PIM over the course of 257 NHL games with the Edmonton Oilers and Nashville Predators. Stortini played another 683 games in the AHL, with an impressive 1825 PIM. We get a glimpse of why hear.

Stortini now serves as an assistant coach with the Tucson Roadrunners of the American Hockey League. During a game today against the Bakersfield Condors, head coach Colin Chaulk was upset over something that happened on the ice. As he was yammering away at the opposing bench, he must have said something to Stortini about going out into the parking lot of the arena, or something along those lines. Stortini was 100 percent ready to go, with a look that seemed to question whether Chaulk was aware of just who he was challenging. Chaulk then gave Stortini the "get outta here" hand gesture, and turned away.

Zack Stortini has one of the longest fight cards I've seen on HockeyFights.com. Former opponents include names like Aaron Asham, Rick Rypien, and there's even one against current Montreal Canadiens fighter Michael Pezzetta.
